Terrance Williams and Dimingus Stevens were tremendous in this one but Stevens’ Wilson Tigers won a close one, 66-63 at McDonough Gymnasium on the Georgetown campus to advance to Saturday’s championship. Williams and Stevens each scored 20 first half points. Williams finished with a game high 27. Stevens had 25. But it was Jay Heath who hit perhaps the biggest shot of the night. After a ball had appeared to have been knocked out of bounds by a Wilson player, Wilson was awarded the ball with around 20 seconds to go and Heath beat the shot clock with a deep three extending Wilson’s lead from 2 to 5.
