Whitman came out the gates firing on all cylinders and jumped out an 11 point lead. Walter Johnson would settle in and close the first half strong, ultimately taking the lead. In the second half, both teams traded punches, but it was Walter Johnson who came out victorious thanks to big shots by Hank Roll and sophomore Philip Stubin. Roll had 21 for the wildcats and Stubin had 13 points. Brenden Shaver had 20 for Whitman in the loss.
