When these two played on 1/19 B-CC was in firm control until Churchill’s pressure defense erased a 4Q double digit deficit in an empty gym in Bethesda. Tonight was a different story. There was a solid crowd, and on this night B-CC was able to hold onto their 8 point lead entering the 4Q. Churchill did claw back, and even took a two possession lead inside of 4 minutes, but the Barons got the job done behind Alvin Jackson, Logan Davis, and Sherman Weatherspoon who scored 16 each for the victorious Barons. Previously unbeaten Churchill was led by Zeke Avit, who had a game high 19, including a monster 4th quarter.
