In their first meeting, Durant proved to be too much for Takeover. And in the first half, it looked as if Durant was gonna run away with this game after leading 28-14 at the break, in a half where Takeover shot 3-18 FG. In every game this EYBL session, Takeover was down a double-digit lead and fought back. This game was no different. Takeover trailed for much of this game before Devon Savage (13 pts) hit a three from the top of the key to give Takeover its first lead of the game. Jakai Robinson (8 pts) would follow up that three with an exclamation point dunk to put the game out of reach.
