Gonzaga took firm control of this game from the tip. The Eagles did a great job executing in the half court, which lead to them hitting a barrage of three-pointers over the course of the game, including six in the second quarter and five in the third quarter. The Eagles led by 18 in the 4th quarter with about five minutes left in the game, but PVI would chip away at the lead by turning Gonzaga over and scoring from the free throw. PVI would come as close as three and would get two great looks from three-point range to tie the game, but their shots fell short. The Eagles were led by Terrance Williams, who had a team-high 21 points. In a losing effort, Trevor Keels had a game-high 26 points. Duke Commit Jeremy Roach chipped in 21 points.
