Ryan Cornish (2021 RM G) had a quiet first half with two points but came alive when it mattered most. He scored 18 in the 2H and overtime and converted a game winning layup after Djorje Orcev got a steal and assist to the streaking Cornish. Cornish had major success leaking out all game long. The crushing loss for Gaithersburg ends their season after winning the 4A West last year. Jao Ituka led GBurg with 17. Mandella Tarke added 12 and Jordan Hawkins and Chris Kouemi scored 10 and 8 respectively. RM advances to the 4A West championship Saturday versus the #1 seed from section 1, Walter Johnson.
