An inside look at the 2022 Capitol Hoops summer league at DeMatha.
The DeMatha summer league began in 2011 under the direction of long-time DeMatha head coach Mike Jones and his staff. In 2018 Marc Stern and the Capitol Hoops staff took over day to day operations of summer league and ran the league in conjunction with DeMatha Catholic.
Over the years hundreds of division one players have participated in this summer league. Many players put their name on the map in this league.
Summer League 22 featured 32 teams from the DMV region. The league featured a mix of both public and private schools. Opening night was on May 23rd and a champion was crowned on July 2nd.

The Capitol Hoops summer league has over media 30 interns who contribute in a multitude of areas, all within the media umbrella.
