BSN ELITE HOOPS SUMMER LEAGUE AT DEMATHA SCHEDULE

Largo, Lake Clifton Advance in 2A state Finals

Largo and Lake Clifton both won 2A semi-final games on Friday evening at the Comcast Center. However, the two games will be remembered for different reasons. Magruder and Eleanor Roosevelt Win in Dramatic Fashion; Advance to 4A State Chip

Thursday evening was quite eventful at the Comcast Center.  Eleanor Roosevelt’s Akil Charles hit a game winner versus reigning 4A champion North Point and Sherwood took arch-rival Magruder to over-time after Scott Bolen hit an NBA range -3 in the final seconds of regulation to tie it. Maryland State Playoffs Brackets Released

It’s that time of year again folks.  Brackets have been released for the Maryland boys state basketball tournament, click here to view them The top four seeds in each region were decide based on conference records.  Remaining teams were put in to a hat and randomly assigned a seeding. IAC Playoffs Is Set

  The IAC playoff bracket is set, Episcopal has the #1 seed, and Bullis has the #2.  They are heavy favorites to meet for the championship.  The tournament’s last day is sat, feb 18th at Georgetown prep. Some Local Ballers have Recently Put Together Some jaw-dropping Stat Lines

A few local players have put together some incredible games this week around the DMV.  Magruder’s Nick Griffin and Coolidge’s Maurice Jeffers each put together a stat line that will be hard to pass this year. Griffin, a junior shooting guard on the #5th ranked Colonels of Magruder High School went off for 40 points, while connecting on 10 3-pointers on Tuesday night against Wheaton.  Both numbers tied school records.…

ESPN2 to AIR DeMatha Gonzaga on Feb 10th
