St. Charles was in control of this game from the jump. Spartans Senior F Max Brooks established himself early with 4 blocked shots and 5 dunks in the first half. St. Charles would lead by as many as 19. Oxon Hill, with their Senior G Ronald Polite having picked up his 4th foul 2 minutes into the third quarter, would battle back and cut their deficit to 5 thanks in large part to Mike Sumner, who went on an 8-0 personal run. In the end, however, too much St. Charles as their senior leader Omar McGann hit two threes, which just about put the game out of arms reach for Oxon Hill. Max Brooks had a team-high 21 points and Omar McGann contributed 19. Ronald Polite had a game-high 25 points for the Clippers.
