Spalding, without two of their senior leaders in Jordan Pennick and Cam Whitmore, jumped out to a double digit lead early on. However, behind their defense and Andrew Silver (10 points) and Bryce Wilson’s (15 points) play-making abilities, the Bulldogs were able to climb back into the game and eventually take the lead. Despite the Bulldogs’ comeback, Ty Peterson stepped up and hit the game-winning layup with the game on the line. Peterson would go on to finish with a game-high 18 points.
