In a heavyweight public vs private showdown at Harford Community College John Carroll looked to be in mid season form as they defeated defending Maryland 4A state champion Perry Hall 77-62.
In a game filled with big time highlights and a wild crowd, Montez Mathis (26) and Immanuel Quickley (25) were too much for the Gators.
Perry Hall put four in double figures; LaQuill Hardnett (20), Tyler Holley (15), Anthony Walker (11), and Anthony Higgs (10). It was only Perry Hall’s third game of the season, due to multiple cancellations while it was JC’s 10th.
