Donda Academy and Minnesota Prep played in an exciting first game of the 2022 St. James MLK Classic on January 14, 2022.
Minnesota Prep mounted a late comeback to tie the game in the last minute before Donda Academy clinched the game with a late three-pointer from Braeden Moore. Donda Academy’s Robert Dillingham led all scorers with an impressive 31 points to go with 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Jakhi Howard was the only other Donda Academy player to reach double digits with 10 points. Minnesota Prep was led in scoring by Gob Gob, who dropped 23 points and teammate Brenden Moss followed close behind with 22. DJ Jefferson added 12 points for Minnesota Prep.
