Bishop O’Connell pulled away in the second half to win on day 1 of DMV Live 1. ’22 G Paul Lewis scored a team-high 19 points, in addition to 5 assists and 2 steals. ’22 W Cavan Reilly added 13 points, including 3 three-pointers. For St. Maria Goretti, ’22 F Jordan Nkoa-Abessolo was the breakout star, putting up a game-high 22 points and 13 rebounds. Source

Northwest’s Nick Williams was the only player to reach double digits, scoring 19 points. Other notable performances include Tommy Czarnopys (Gaithersburg) with 9 points, Kyle Gacuma (Gaithersburg) with 8, Jack Goldman (Whitman) with 9, Tyler Chapman (Whitman) with 8, and also Ike Onu-Chiedo (Churchill) with 8 of his own.
