Maryland State Playoffs Brackets Released

IAC Playoffs Is Set

  The IAC playoff bracket is set, Episcopal has the #1 seed, and Bullis has the #2.  They are heavy favorites to meet for the championship.  The tournament’s last day is sat, feb 18th at Georgetown prep. Some Local Ballers have Recently Put Together Some jaw-dropping Stat Lines

A few local players have put together some incredible games this week around the DMV.  Magruder’s Nick Griffin and Coolidge’s Maurice Jeffers each put together a stat line that will be hard to pass this year. Griffin, a junior shooting guard on the #5th ranked Colonels of Magruder High School went off for 40 points, while connecting on 10 3-pointers on Tuesday night against Wheaton.  Both numbers tied school records.…

A Crazy Week and a Crazy Season in HS Hoops

In one week the existing hierarchy of DMV high school hoops transformed. Four teams from powerhouse DC-area private schools hold at the top but upsets caused upheaval amongst local high school rankings. ESPN2 to AIR DeMatha Gonzaga on Feb 10th
