The first quarter of this game was an exciting shootout between #4 Douglass and #1 Wicomico with several lead changes. But, once the second quarter came along, Douglass ramped up their defense and converted it to buckets on the offensive end. Ultimately, they ran with the lead and never looked back, winning with a final score of 66-48. Leading the way for Douglass was Mekhi Arnold (19 points), Mekhi Morris (13 pt), and Albert Mourning (10 pt). In a persistent effort, Wicomico was led by Jaylin Dashiell-Andrews (12 pt) and BJ Cook (8 pt). Douglass will face #2 Westlake in the MPSSAA 2A Championship.
