Keels’ Wild Buzzer Beater Lifts PVI Over St. John’s to Stay Perfect in WCAC 2/3/19
PVI started out the gates slow and had a tough time guarding Casey Morsell, who lit PVI up for 14 points in the opening quarter. PVI would then settle in and the game remained close down to the wire. At the end of the game, Casey Morsell would put his team up 2 with a crafty left hand layup, leaving 1.6 seconds on the clock. The referees, however, put 3.3 seconds back on the clock, giving Trevor Keels time to take 3 dribbles and put up a prayer that would give PVI the improbable win.
