Eleanor Roosevelt Uses Defensive Second Half to Beat Wise 72-50 1/30/2019
Wise started the game hot, jumping out to a 25-16 lead, but Eleanor closed the second quarter strong and only trailed by 1 point at half. In the second, they relied heavily on their defense, taking charges, getting steals, and finishing in transition. Cameron Brown really put the nail in the coffin after a monstrous dunk late in the 4th quarter. Brown had 11 points for the Raiders, while Isaiah Gross had a game-high 24 points. Quinton Mincey also gave his team some great minutes off the bench, scoring 10 points and pulling down 9 boards. For Wise, Fred Crowell did a great job putting his teammates in scoring positions and finished the game with 11 points.
