Kimani Benjamin’s 27 points lead Fairmont Heights to victory over Frederick Douglass

Entering this game, Frederick Douglass & Fairmont Heights were the #2 and #4 teams in the MPSSAA 1A classification, respectively. After a huge 19 point victory for the Fairmont Heights Hornets, they rose to #3 in the MPSSAA 1A division while Douglass dropped to #4.
Kimani Benjamin was the main event in his Hornet’s 62-43 victory over the Douglass Eagles, leading all scorers with 27 points. Teammates Darren Lucas-White and Yearlarndo Reed II followed suit with 12 and 11 points respectively.
The Eagles’ 2019 G Kaylen Vines co led his team in scoring with 9 points, alongside teammate Darnell.
