Philly’s Rysheed Jordan Goes Wild for Vaux in MLK Hoopfest at Coolidge

At one point in time, about six months ago University of Maryland was recruiting Rysheed Jordan of Philly hard.  Real hard.  After they landed Roddy Peters interest dwindled between the two parties.

On MLK day Jordan showed a lot of DMV fans what Maryland is going to miss out on.  In fact he plays like Peters, great vision, court awareness, a good leader by example.  But unlike Peters, Jordan can stroke the ball.  He can absolutely score at will and has a very diversified offensive attack.

Jordan scored a MLK Hoopfest high 39 points including the game winning 3 point play with two seconds left to hand Mt. Saint Joe’s of Baltimore a devastating three point loss.

Ohio State bound Kam Williams went for a team high 23 points and it was very exciting watching these future high-major D-1 players go at it.
