Jamesville-Dewitt Downs St. Johns at High School Hoops Festival

A lot of D-1 talent was on hand this weekend at DeMatha Catholic for the 5th annual National High School Hoops Festival. One team that featured two future major D-1 players was Jamesville-Dewitt out of Dewitt, NY just miles from Syracuse. JD features future Syracuse Orangeman DeJuan Coleman and future Wake Forest Demon Deacon Tyler Cavanaugh. The pair are listed at 6'10'' and 6'8'' which gives them one of the biggest and most talented front lines tandems in the country.

Gonzaga Survives Late Scare, Wins Gonzaga DC Classic

Neumann-Gorreti scored the first basket in the Gonzaga DC Classic on Sunday night and that was the only lead they would have throughout the entire game. They did make a late charge and cut the deficit to 1 in the final seconds but Gonzaga held on for a 4 point victory.
