Baltimore City's best player and the program with the richest basketball tradition in Baltimore City squared off Tuesday night at Hill Field House on the Morgan State campus with a Baltimore City Championship on the line. The Poets came out victorious, defeating the Clippers by a score of 65-61 in front of close to 3,000 fans.

Paul VI Finished Undefeated WCAC Regular Season With Exclamation Point Win at DeMatha

On Sunday afternoon Paul VI did what no WCAC team has done since the 2004-05 season; Go undefeated in one of the toughest leagues in the country. In fact Paul VI is the first team other then DeMatha (who has done it multiple times) to finish the regular season undefeated. It was another down-to-the-wire nail biter, as so many of Paul VI's recent games have been.

On Thursday night Takoma Academy had no Desmond Stanback -- No Problem. Jalen Williams would play the best game of his career and carry Takoma. Stanback who was suspended for the game, was in street clothes and Riverdale Baptist and Takoma played a down-to-the-wire over-time nail biter.

Arundel was playing at Old Mill who entered Tuesday night's showdown on a 10 game winning streak. Arundel entered the game perfect at 20-0. Something had to give.
