Magruder Opens Season With a Bang; Gets Revenge and Holds Off Late Charge From DeMatha

Magruder finished last season as Maryland 4A state champions and finished with a record of 27-1. Pretty remarkable for a public High School in Montgomery County, MD. But the Colonels weren't content. Magruder point guard JJ Epps told Capitol Hoops before the game "The "one" has got to go". "We're going out with a zero on the other side of our record this year".
