U.S. All-Sars Down Capital All-Stars 113-101 in 2017 Capital Classic @ Verizon 4/8/2017

The U.S. all-stars opened up the 2nd half on a 16-2 run and never looked back, defeating the host Capital all-stars by 12 at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC.  Dhamir Cosby-Roundtree (U.S.) and Luka Garza (Capital) wonGrant Hill MVP honors.  Cosby-Roundtree, who is a Villanova commit finished with 18 points on 9-9 FGs.  Garza, who is headed to Iowa led the Capital All-Stars with a team high 18 points, and a game high 14 rebounds.  Brandon Randolph (U.S.) was the game’s leading scorer with 22.  Jelly Washington (U.S.) had the fans on their feet for stretches of the game with his NYC flavor in DC.  Nate Watson scored 14 for the Capital All-Stars while Deion Hammond, Aaron Thompson, and Anthony Duruji finished with 10 each.
