BCC and Meade crowd sing 4A championship national anthem after singer suffers serious injury

In a very scary situation it appeared to everyone in attendance that the gentleman singing the national anthem suffered a heart attack midway through signing the anthem in the 4A state championship.  He had already sung three national anthems earlier in the day and every year he would always entertain the crowd with his lively rendition of the song.

On saturday night in a surreal situation he went down on one knee and eventually a host of different medical professionals were at his side.  It was later found out that he had not suffered a heart attack, and was doing well, awake and talking at the hospital.

After a 30 minute plus delay both crowds and everyone in attendance in unison sang the anthem, and it was a very cool sight.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the singer.
