Princeton Day Advances to Inaugural Capital Beltway League Championship with 85-79 Win Over N.C.A
Princeton Day got 25 points from Aquille Carr and put four others in double figures as they make it to the championship in the Capital Belway’s first season.
Jerron Martin had a huge fourth quarter including back to back triples with about three minutes to play. Martin’s 3-balls came at a clutch time. National Christian had just cut the lead to one, the closest they had been since early in the game. Princeton Day went 18-23 from the foul line in the fourth quarter to secure the win.
Jonathan Davis scored 35 points in a losing effort. Every time it seemed that PDA was going to run away with it Dais would respond.
With the win PDA advances to play the host school, Riverdale Baptist in Monday nights championship at 8PM.
